This charming 3 bed cottage is believed to date from the 15th century and opened as a gite in October 2016. The décor has retained many of the original features with a contemporary twist and has timber beams throughout.

Downstairs, the house has a farmhouse style kitchen and a living room. Both rooms have wood burning stoves. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, fridge freezer (stocked with complementary refreshments) and microwave. There is kitchenware and appliances suitable for a self-catering holiday. A continental breakfast with freshly baked bread and pastries is served every morning at Les Hirondelles.

The living room has a large sofa and smart television with French digital channels. The TV has USB and HDMI ports so you can plug in your own laptop if you wish. There is also a DVD player with a selection of French and English DVDs to borrow including films shot in our village.

Access to the private enclosed garden is via the kitchen.

The staircase from the kitchen leads to the three bedrooms and shower room. The main bedroom has a Queen size bed 160 x 200 fitted wardrobes and dressing table. There are two further bedrooms which are arranged 1 with a bed 160 x 200 which can be converted to a single bed if you require more space in the room and the third bedroom houses a single bed (90cm x 200cm), fitted wardrobe and drawers. A cot can be provided free with notice.

We can accommodate a maximum of 5 adults and 2+ children depending on ages. There is a child cot available and child gates can be fitted at the top of the stairs with prior notice. Before entering the shower room, there is a chill out area which has a hairdryer, bathrobes and toiletries. All linen and towels are provided.

We live next door and can help with local tourist information, booking restaurants, tickets, etc and we offer a chauffeur service to and from airports/train stations as well as guided tours of the area.

Free on-street parking is available outside the property, two adult bikes are available for hire. The property is walking distance to the centre of the village.
